The fund's goal is to achieve capital growth by constructing a portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments.

To diversify the fund's investments across different market caps, the fund manager is required to invest at least 25% each in large, mid, and small-cap stocks, while the remaining 25% can be allocated flexibly according to market conditions and the fund's investment objective.

Fund Manager View

The returns generated by the Axis Multi Cap Fund have been strong. However, the overall economic fundamentals of India are viewed as mixed. While the growth outlook appears positive, there are concerns regarding inflation, fiscal deficit, and trade/current account balance.

The market has dropped due to various negative factors, but the current valuations present a favorable opportunity for investors. It is believed that the second half of the year will be more favorable for the equity market compared to the past few months.

The composition of our portfolios reflects our belief in the ongoing recovery of domestic demand. Despite being cautious of external factors that could impede growth, we are confident that our portfolios will perform well due to indicators of strong discretionary demand and stable government policies.
