Kotak Mutual Fund has announced the launch of a new scheme, Kotak Banking & Financial Services Fund, with a NFO opening on Fbruary 6th and closing on February 20th, 2023.

Investment Strategy

The Scheme will invest primarily in equities and equity-related securities of companies in the banking and financial services sectors.

To promote diversification, the Scheme may invest up to 20% of its assets in companies other than banks and financial services firms.

A portion of the scheme will also be invested in initial public offerings (IPOs), emerging sectors, and other primary market offers that meet investment criteria.

The fund manager would apply a bottom-up approach to identify companies with strong fundamentals using the business, management, valuation (BMV) method.
